EXCITED YOU WANT TO GET TO KNOW ME MORE!

A bit of background about me. I was an athlete my entire life, playing every sport including three sports in high school. After graduation, I left Reno, Nevada, to play college sports in Utah. I knew this would be an adjustment, playing college sports, being in a new state and surround myself with a new community.  To say least, I overcame obstacles,  challenges and defeats throughout my first season of soccer & being in Utah.  At the end of my first semester, I realized being an athlete was not what I wanted to continue. In other words, the athlete life was not for me.

As soon as spring semester started, I felt empty. The sport I longed to play everyday, I didn't play anymore. Everything I masked with a "sport" became real. My goals and aspirations were flowing in my mind, every which way. The difference was I wasn't saying, "I probably have soccer" to "I AM DOING IT." One of my first goals was to travel out of the country. Another goal was to run a photography business, not just as a hobby. I strived to connect with people all around the world. My energy, vibe and drive was contagious. I began to think, I am made for so much more. I need to do something and not just let time pass, as I was.

 Here is where I began my journey.

 

I set my mind on creating images for everyone and anyone. For four months, I was shooting pictures after pictures, for free. I was building my portfolio. Four months in, I had a handful of inquiries for weddings. It became real that others were seeing the creativity of what my eye can capture through a lens. They had FAITH IN ME, now I needed to have faith in myself.

 

 So I did. I believed that ANYTHING I wanted to achieve, I could. I booked a flight to backpack Thailand for 28 days, with my journey including meeting hundreds of new faces, taking thousands of photos, connecting with likeminded souls and of course, great local dishes. After that spectacular month, I realized how blessed I am in this life & was obsessed with living in it. 

 

After arriving back in the United States, I was ready to NEVER stop traveling, meeting new people and speaking life into people.

Here. It. Was. 

The opportunity I was longing for. Arbonne. 

 

First, I saw it would give me time freedom and financial freedom. This had me excited. Second, I saw the opportunity to help change lives for the better. Third, I saw a community that cared about me JUST as much I cared about them. Fourth, I saw the opportunity to connect with souls ALL OVER THE WORLD. We are a virtual company in seven countries and growing. Lastly, I saw growth. To be uncomfortable or scared, you're growing. This business was out of my comfort zone and quite honestly made me a little nervous, but I grew with it.

       Nine months later, my life has drastically shifted, positively. I have become who I felt I was longing to be, a lot sooner than I could have imagined. If I hadn't taken risks, been self-motivated and gave my all everyday, I would not be where I'm at today. I'm loving every minute, growing every second and learning more everyday. My story has resonated amongst many, leading me to speak and share my journeys, struggles and successes. Entrepreneurship is not an easy path, but this path leads to amazing stories. Have you ever driven on a dirt path, to suddenly have it open up to an amazing view. Like that, just keep going, it will be worth it. 

 

  I am an energetic soul who thrives when speaking my voice. I love my voice and believe we all need to use it more often. Leading to why I started blogging: I wanted to continue to share my words to a larger audience.

Today I am more excited than ever to have a life I OWN. I am a self-employed entrepreneur, running two successful businesses and freelancing in two other areas. 

​

I live life on my terms, time, financials with my creative eye & drive.

When people ask what kind of photographer am I, I usually answer with, "just a little bit of everything." I believe I have an eye to capture and that shouldn't be limited. I have created beautiful images with food, babies, events, weddings, seniors, showing I should and WILL do it all. I see beauty in everyone, everything and everyplace. When I shoot pictures, I shoot with style, purpose and feeling. I want everyone to witness how truly beautiful this world is through my lens.
