What freedom means to me

I’m so thankful for the life that I live and I am proud to be an American. Being an American, you are a free soul. I’m not a political person nor do I involve myself in conversations as such. No matter what, this country is still FREE and we are FREE people. We have to remember in the midst of all the chaos, we are LUCKY. We are lucky to have no dictation of how we live our life or who rules our decisions. Our decisions are for ourselves and to better our lives. We have rules and we have liberties. But we understand them & live with them. Still with that we are allowed to be who we want.

This is something near and dear to me because every path I seemed to have been put on was not one I wanted to be on. I was struggling, I was unhappy, I wasn’t stable, I wasn’t making decision for myself, I wasn’t accomplishing my goals, I wasn’t reaching my fullest potential, so I needed to change.

Many of us feel as if we are stuck in a situation, there is no way to change. Even stuck in a job. Stop where you’re at and realize we’re in 2019, you can make a 6-figure income from your PHONE.

After quite a few years of living a life I didn’t own, I decided I will change, and I will change now.

January of 2018, I decided I wanted to run my own photography business. I started. Just picked up my camera, told everyone I wanted to take pictures of them. For 4 months, I built my portfolio from portraits to businesses to models. And the best part is, no one told me couldn’t. I’m not saying people said I WOULDN’T. But those are 2 different things. I was able to book 7 weddings my first year and begin to open my eyes to what could be a legit business for me.

Traveling was a dream of mine that came alive after deciding one day to pursue my passion. After working hard in photography, I made enough money go to travel Thailand. I headed to Thailand for 29 days. Again, I have the freedom to decide to travel. I have the freedom to fly to another country on the flip of a switch.

After returning, I had found out about Arbonne. An opportunity that was knocking at my door, for a reason. I had just traveled, I am an entrepreneur, I love talking, I love meeting new people. This was it. This was the opportunity I wanted. I was DYING to be more and give more. This allowed for time FREEDOM and financial FREEDOM. Blessed with an opportunity to work from my phone and travel the world, still working my business, making a 6 figure income.

Goodness. The amount of times people would say to me, “that’s not normal” “that’s fake” “that’s a scheme” “that’s not the right path” but what really I said is, it’s a life I live, it’s the freedom I have, and its choices for me. I wasn’t dictated to stop, people attempted to stop me but I don’t stop because of what others say, I listen to my heart and pursue. As should you. Don’t sit on your heels and feel suck.

It’s America, we’re FREE, we’re allowed to make decision for ourselves, we’re allowed to be who we want to be, we’re allowed to have FREEDOM.
