Todays world has build a connotation to be aggressive, rude, self-centered, sure. But does that stop us from still being kind.
One act at a time we will change the world. You all can make a difference.
Some of my personal experience in this:
1. Holding the door open for someone
I am consistently checking my shoulder and looking at my surroundings. When I approach a door, someone may be right behind me or 20 ft. I will wait. Tell me, is that extra 10 seconds you wait to hold the door open for someone going to affect your routine? You will leave your mark with someone. They will remember you. They will be thankful you did such a thing. Its cliche but its true, you never know how someones day is going or what they are going through. You show them the they are NOTICED. Come on, we all have felt unnoticed before. Show your love with a little act.
2. Smiling at someone when they walk by you
This was one thing I hold extremely dear to my heart. Smile are contagious. When you see a smile, you want to smile. Studies are done to see just why smiling is contagious. They show because our brain is on a constant want to reciprocate how we believe someone else if feeling. Picture yourself in this situation. You're stalling down the street minding your own business. Someone walks by. No words were said although they smile walking past you. Within a second, without a hesitation you smile back. You just can't stop yourself. No matter what mood you are in, you see a smile, you smile.
3. Compliment someone.
I notice almost every day that I like, so I say it. Your words are powerful. Whether you know or not. If you say something to someone, it radiates. They feel cared for,
